We joined a Silicon Valley unicorn early—one of us building global engineering enablement that supported hypergrowth from 300 to 6,000 employees through IPO, the other leading alliances engineering and driving market leadership.
We both witnessed the same pattern: as scaling teams became distributed, performance suffered. Not from lack of capability—from lack of connection.
We successfully digitized work, but failed to redesign how humans connect. Teams had every productivity tool, yet engagement dropped and collaboration felt harder. Due to distance, the informal moments that built trust—hallway conversations, spontaneous problem-solving, shared lunches—were gone. And no solution existed for intentionally cultivating the team dynamics that enable peak performance.
So we built SquadGame. We combined decades of scaling global teams with expertise in people enablement, technical innovation, and behavioral science. The result: gamified, adventure-based experiences that create genuine connection and build the trust high-performance demands.
